the Institutive of development Studies at the University of Sussex

Technology Needs

In surveys distributed to the Ashesi student body year after
year, one of the key reasons for choosing Ashesi over other
schools is our "state of the art technology." This
highlights the importance of technology to our academic
program. Students use computers to complete classroom
assignments, run virtual experiments and access our
electronic library of over 20,000 academic journals. With a
growing student body, we need continuous expansion of the
university's technology infrastructure. Some immediate needs
include:
- Three
(3) Black & White laser network printers
- Two (2) Microsoft Exchange Server Enterprise Edition plus 150 user
licenses
Laptops capable of running Windows XP
or Windows Vista for off-campus studying
