HEALTH SERVICES AT ASHESI

Good health is the first need of every human being. Good health is the engine of both human and economic growth, progress, development and productivity. This explains why nations, organizations, businesses, and individuals spend financial resources, time, energy and other material resources in seeking good health.
To ensure that students at
Ashesi University are in excellent health to carry on with their academic pursuits, a well equipped health center run by a knowledgeable, experienced and caring nurse, Mrs. Emelia Toba, has been set up.
Services provided include first aid, storage of student medical records, prompt referrals, counseling, and health education, especially on HIV/AIDS and other communicable venereal diseases, hygiene, and other topics. All the teaching and administrative staff as well as other employees are also entitled to the health services, education, and counseling available at
Ashesi University. At Ashesi, good health is top priority.
