WHAT'S THAT WONDERFUL SMELL?

By Linda Young-Ribeiro
Dean of Student and Community Affairs

One doesn't have to go far to find the best home cooking in Accra. Everyone here at Ashesi knows right away that those enticing aromas are emanating from none other than our own Emmy's Canteen. Open from 7:30 am till 5:30 pm Mondays through Fridays, Emmy's Canteen offers popular, tasty and nutritious traditional Ghanaian dishes, including "Red Red" (bean stew and red plantain), Jolof Rice, Vegetables & Chicken, and Groundnut Soup. Students and staff can relax and enjoy their meal in the breezy open-air canteen, and one never goes away without being treated by the warmth of Auntie Emmy's friendliness and smile. All this and at affordable prices too...
