Second year of instruction completed
Nov 2003

November 28th, 2003 was the last day of exams for students as Ashesi University completed its second year of instruction. It has been another groundbreaking year as Ashesi doubled its class size and introduced many new courses. Throughout the year our 60 students have heard lectures on economic development, business practices, and health issues from academics and professionals from Ghana and the United States. In 2003 Ashesi introduced its internship program as four sophomores spent their summer term working with businesses in the Greater Accra area, gaining valuable experiences in professional environments. Students have taken the initiative in setting campus culture, creating several new clubs, and actively planning campus events. To everyone involved in helping Ashesi achieve its goals in 2003 . . . congratulations!
