Ashesi’s Ambititions for Career Development and Brain Gain in Africa

Patrick Awuah speaks with WISE about education, career development and brain drain in Africa. While there are jobs in Africa for university educated youth, Patrick says, many universities do not adequately prepare students for them. Students fail to learn how to deal with ambiguity, communicate effectively or analyze. Ashesi aims to educate a new generation of Africans with these skills, so that they may fill these jobs, innovate in Africa, and reverse brain drain.
