Today, Ashesi University is known as a highly respected organization in Ghana and top-10 university in Africa. But how did Ashesi gain its strong reputation? In a new interview, Patrick Awuah shares how the USAID Office of American Schools and Hospitals Abroad (USAID/ASHA) has played a key role in Ashesi’s growth.
Since 2010, Ashesi has received three awards from USAID/ASHA to purchase equipment for our classrooms and library, help construct the new engineering building and purchase equipment and technology for our science and engineering laboratories.
