See Africa through the eyes of Ashesi
Our 10th Annual Trip to Ghana
This October 6-14, 2018, join our trip to Ghana. We’ll immerse ourselves in the Ashesi culture of ethical leadership and innovative entrepreneurship – spending time on campus and at alumni workplaces. And of course, no trip to Ghana is complete without exploring Accra, Elmina and Cape Coast—we’ll traverse a rainforest, visit a historic slave fort, stroll through museums and art galleries, and relax on the beach. This trip is for anyone who wants to see beyond the tourism and news headlines, to the promise of today’s Ghana and the bright future for Africa that Ashesi students and alumni are working to create.
The Ashesi Deep Dive
This year we are offering a mini-trip option, The Ashesi Deep Dive, from October 7-9. This mini-trip is a component of the Annual Trip, but is available as a stand-alone experience for government, nonprofit, business, and academic partners who would like to get a deeper understanding of the work happening on campus. We will spend the days on campus attending classes and meeting with faculty, alumni, and university leadership.

- Who arranges the trip?
Ashesi partners with a local tour agency, Landtours, to make all arrangements except air travel to Ghana; guests pay their own expenses.
- What are the accommodations like?
We stay at 3-4 star hotels, with all the facilities you would expect such as a swimming pool, gym, business center, and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is included every day with both traditional Ghanaian and Western offerings.
- How will we get around?
Land Tours provides private transportation, with a driver and knowledgeable guide. The shuttle bus has spacious seating, is air conditioned and is stocked with bottled water. An Ashesi staff member will be with the group at all times.
