Ashesi
campus construction slideshow
Progress is
continuing at Ashesi's new campus in Berekuso,
with roofing completed on two of Ashesi's classroom buildings.
Ashesi's lead contractors have reported that they are three weeks
ahead of schedule and hope to have all the building
structures completed to roof level within the next month.

Ashesi holds 6th commencement ceremony
On Saturday, June 5, eighty-five students of the class of
2010 were awarded degrees in Business Administration,
Computer Science and Management Information Systems. President and Founder, Patrick Awuah encouraged students to
not worry about those who insist on maintaining the
status quo and who do not fundamentally believe in Africa's
potential.

named amongst the 100 Most Creative People in Business 2010
Patrick Awuah has been named amongst the 100 Most Creative
People in Business 2010 by Fast Company Magazine. Other honourees include, White
House CTO, Beth Simone Noveck; Dele Olojede, CEO of Timbuktu
Media and the first African-born journalist to win a
Pulitzer Prize; Harvard law professor, Elizabeth Warren and
interface designer, Yugo Nakamura. |

Ken Maguire on Ashesi: "Climbing Ghana's economic ladder"
Ken Maguire, of the Global Post writes about the innovative
college in Accra, Ghana, that is helping aspiring middle
class move on up. Ashesi which was started by Microsoft
alum, Patrick Awuah in 2002 has grown to 350 students
studying for degrees in business administration, computer
science and management and information systems. |
