This weekend, three Ashesi alumni traveled to Seattle to speak about their renowned technology company, DreamOval, for Ashesi Foundation’s Annual Community Party. Founded in 2007, DreamOval has quickly developed a reputation in Ghana for elevating data science, enterprise software and cloud services.

The alumni – Derrydean Dadzie, Claud Hutchful and Henry Sampson – shared DreamOval’s mission: to innovate for the good of the world and humanity through technology. Under this aim, the company uses world-class technologies and open-standards to support its customers around the world.

Their nonprofit arm, DreamOval Foundation, aims to help Ghanaians live a more fulfilled life by facilitating the creation, sharing and utilization of knowledge. The Foundation provides student scholarships, offers expert ICT training, and leads a teen programming initiative, among its good works.

Attending Ashesi made DreamOval possible, shared Derrydean. The audacity behind Ashesi’s vision and founding inspired Derry, Claud and Henry to dream just as big when they first envisioned DreamOval. DreamOval now frequently partners with Ashesi – building the University’s website, sponsoring Ashesi’s computer coding fair, and more.

Ashesi Foundation thanks Derry, Claud and Henry for leading our Community Party. We look forward to seeing DreamOval’s achievements in the years to come!
