Since inception, Ashesi has been offering young Africans a high-quality education that fosters ethics, innovation, and entrepreneurship and is a growing hub for global collaborations, education, thought leadership, and entrepreneurial ventures. The University is also becoming an influencer in Africa’s higher education landscape, building a platform of collaboration that is bringing the continent’s universities together for shared impact.

Since 2017, the Ashesi-led Education Collaborative has focused on uniting African universities to enhance each other’s efforts and improve higher education outcomes for students. Today, the Collaborative has engaged hundreds of higher education partners in Africa and has 57 active member institutions.
