My name is Amenoracking Amenreynolds and I am a 19-year-old Ghanaian. I come from a family of 13 children, including myself. Before was I accepted to Ashesi University, I spent 11 years at an international school called Soul Clinic International School. After that, I completed my A levels at The Roman Ridge International School.
What inspired me to apply to Ashesi University was the ethical integrity that Ashesi has; this makes it the best university in Ghana. Because my father was strictly against studying abroad, my first choice was Ashesi University, which has proved to be better than a majority of outside universities. My elder brother, Oracking Amenreyolds, is in his final year at Ashesi; he is one of the many people that encouraged me to apply here. I applied because I wanted to invest in my future, pursue my interests in more depth, and gain academic recognition. Ashesi was the best university for me because it provided more than a qualification, it equips its students with ethical skills to be leaders wherever they find themselves. In this way, I can contribute to increasing the world’s knowledge in any sector I find myself; this has been one of my biggest goals in life.
I am very thankful to all the donors for giving me this opportunity to study at Ashesi University and to further my education to achieve my goals. Thank you for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime. I feel honored to be part of the few selected to be supported.
I have decided to study Computer Science because ever since I was young I have been fascinated with technology and computers in general. I was a curious child, always fidgeting with everything I saw. I have also found a deep connection with coding. This has led me to pursue Computer Science as my major because it gives me the ability to create something new that will help the majority of people around the world.
One of my ambitious goals in my future career is to be a leading pioneer in any sector I find myself. If I am given a chance to create something new, I will make sure to utilize that opportunity to its fullest extent.
This scholarship means a lot to me because ever since my mother passed away due to terminal illness, my father has been the only parental figure providing for all the children. I am very thankful to all the donors for giving me this opportunity to study at Ashesi University and to further my education to achieve my goals. Thank you for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime. I feel honored to be part of the few selected to be supported.
