Bridgette Eyram Adatsi ’22

Ashesi Staff December 16, 2018 profiles

Business Administration
Class of 2022
General Scholarship Recipient

My name is Bridgette Eyram Adatsi. I am a Ghanaian from a family of five comprising of my parents, my two brothers and me. I live with my family in Santa Maria, Accra.

When my brother told me about Ashesi, I researched about it and decided to come also. Even though I want to be a chartered accountant, I love the fact that Ashesi has a multidisciplinary education that will enable me to explore other subjects also. My brother and I are very different, but we have basketball in common, and we both play in the school league. I’m really glad he’s here because I can get his help on anything.

“I love the fact that Ashesi has a multidisciplinary education that will enable me to explore other subjects…I would like to say a big Thank You again to the donors who made this possible.”

I am studying Business Administration. I chose this major because of my dream career that is to be a chartered accountant. People, in general, feel being a doctor is the only way to impact society which was a statement my uncle made. I want to change that.

I am currently working on my foundation called Finding Our Lost Leaders. My main goal is to put up an orphanage but it is a step by step process.

Being a part of the Ashesi Financial Aid Program is a blessing because without it I doubt I would have been a student of Ashesi. My family is really grateful but I especially am in debt to you. I promise that you won’t regret handing me this opportunity. Ashesi University is a very welcoming community different from what I grew up with.

I would like to say a big Thank You again to the donors who made this possible.
