Nominated by his peers, Ndze’dzenyuy Karl Lemfon ’22 will be representing the Class as Commencement Speaker.

“We have shared many memories as a class,” says Ndze’dzenyuy ’22. “I expect Commencement Day to be a day of celebration because we are the first class to be having our ceremony in-person since the pandemic started. Event Photography
Ashesi will have a photography team capturing the entire Commencement event. To make sure that official University photographers can get the best of our graduates on Graduation day, we do not allow other photographers around the main Commencement stage during the ceremony. Within two weeks of the event, the Alumni Relations Office will share photos with graduates. Unsolicited commercial photographers (not invited by the University or by a member of the graduating class and their family) will not be allowed on campus.
Livestream and Social Media
The event will be streamed live on Ashesi’s Facebook and YouTube channels. You are welcome to share your photos and videos using hashtags #Ashesi2022 and #AshesiGrad. There will be tweets from the event using the same hashtags.
Traffic & Parking

To ease traffic flow through campus, guests will be directed through a detour that leads directly to the University Sports field. The main entrance to campus will be reserve for exiting, and our campus security team will be on hand to provide assistance to designated parking locations. Please note that parking is restricted around the sports field. Click here for a campus map.

Weather Forecast
As at the week of May 16th, weather forecasts indicate that Commencement Day will be cloudy, with 25% chance of precipitation. Graduates and attendees are encouraged to bring umbrellas along to the ceremony should there be rain or drizzle.

As we approach Commencement day, additional information and updates will be shared via email to the graduating class, and on social media. If you have questions relating to the event, please contact info@ashesi.edu.gh or +233.302.610.330.
