We invite you to join us in launching our first Global Giving Week campaign! This campaign, running from November 23rd – 29th, helps us raise funding for university priorities – including student scholarships, faculty research, and others – and will set a foundation for our third-decade strategic plan – Beyond the Horizon. We invite students, alumni, staff, parents and friends to make a gift to Ashesi, share our Global Giving Week page with others, and help us meet our goal for this campaign of engaging at least 250 donors!
From a small class of 30 pioneering students, Ashesi now has over 3000 students and alumni – considered some of the world’s best – across programmes in Business, Computer Science & Information Systems, and Engineering. And through an Ashesi-led Education Collaborative – a network of African universities committed to stronger outcomes for students – we have transformed learning for 149,000 students.
At Ashesi, we believe that the future of Africa depends on our ability to tap into the leadership and problem-solving potential of young people across the continent. With a unique curriculum built on experiential learning and a commitment to the partnerships necessary for systemic change in African higher education, we are helping thousands of students develop the skills they need to lead change.
