Last Saturday, nearly 2,000 family, friends and alumni attended Ashesi’s 12th annual commencement ceremony. 144 members of the Class of 2016 received degrees in Business Administration, Computer Science and MIS.

- “Having all of Africa in one school…it was amazing to have so many people from all over the continent.”
- “It’s the only place that’s stays awake when everyone else in Ghana is asleep.”
- “My experience has been a weird blend between stressful and fun. I honestly didn’t think such a blend was possible. Apparently, it’s only in Ashesi.”
- “I found love, peace and fulfillment.”
- “Just do the right thing in Ashesi and beyond, and everyone including the website will put you on show for weeks. Play just a ‘prank’ and you will bespat out in a flash.”
- “I love how the staff and faculty are serious about their jobs.”
- “The biggest thing I learned is that, for an institution or business to grow, discipline is key. There should be a right way which is followed by everyone.”
- “When I won the Dalai Lama fellows program in 2014. Personally, it began a new chapter in my life.”
- “I enjoyed the interactions with lecturers.”
- “All the career sessions.”
- “When we set up our WhatsApp Group. It really bonded our class together and made us make new friends.”
- “The people and the “culture” of the community.”
- “I enjoyed the small parties we had together.”
- “The interest that career service has in the students’ career success used to frustrate me sometime back. Now am greatly inspired.”
- “Standard time for sleeping is after 12am.”
- “The vast array of opportunities that the school offered me. Sincerely grateful.

- “With the friendships and the class experiences, I realized Ashesi was the best decision ever!”
