May 6, 2022: The 2022 edition of the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings, based on universities’ contributions toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), has ranked Ashesi first in Ghana.
April 29, 2022: The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has named Ashesi student Kwame Brako Asante ’25 as the overall best candidate in Ghana’s 2021 West African Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
November 3, 2021: On November 2nd, Ashesi hosted the Vice President of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on campus for a conversation on Ghana’s efforts to digitalize its economy.
October 11, 2021: Samuelle Asante ’21 had a foolproof plan after high school, which did not include studying Business Administration at Ashesi. Her goal was to choose law as a major and work towards becoming a lawyer someday. What she thought was a foolproof plan changed.
