May 26, 2022: During his time on campus, Issahaku noticed that dust accumulated quickly on the university’s solar panels during dry seasons. He grew curious and started looking into how dust affected the panels’ efficiency.
May 23, 2022: For Eyram Tamakloe ’22, Electrical and Electronic Engineering major at Ashesi, her project was inspired by her own experiences growing up as a child with asthma.
March 28, 2022: As it emerged that face shields could further limit the spread of COVID-19, Mechanical Engineering faculty at Ashesi started to think through ways to manufacture these shields on campus for the university community.

January 21, 2022: For the first time since March 2020, Ashesi’s campus fully reopened for in-person activity and classes at the start of 2022.
January 21, 2022: On January 17 2022, Ashesi and ETH Zurich welcomed the pioneering class for our joint Master’s Program in Mechatronic Engineering. The 26 students will be trained in automation, production and robotics.
November 15, 2021: In 2019, Clement Ngosong ’23 arrived at Ashesi to study Electronic and Electrical engineering. He had received a full scholarship to attend but had to convince his family to let him leave Cameroon for Ghana.
